The IYDC Elite Showcase is an exclusive event celebrating the outstanding achievements of our top dancers! 

This special session is designed for participants who have been awarded Silver or Gold medals in IYDC Shanghai, Singapore or Online competitions in 2024.

Join us from December 6 to 8, 2024 at the prestigious Aksra Theatre in Bangkok to showcase your talent, network with industry professionals and further your dance journey.

Date: December 6-8, 2024

Location: Aksra Theatre, Bangkok

Eligibility: Silver and Gold medalists from IYDC Shanghai, IYDC Singapore and IYDC Online Competitions.

Entry Fee (For Shanghai, Singapore & Online event qualified): SGD 388 – inclusive of 1 solo performance workshops & gala showcase

Solo Entry Limit: Participants can only enter for 1 solo in the Elite Showcase category. Additional solos can be entered in IYDC’s general categories at an extra cost of SGD 60 per solo.

Performance Rounds:

Solo Performances:

Dancers will perform individual routines in their chosen genres, including Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Cultural dances and Any Other Style. This has to be the same solo that qualified for the Elite Showcase Category.

Masterclasses and Workshops:

Renowned choreographers and dance professionals will conduct masterclasses and workshops, offering participants the chance to learn new techniques, styles, and insights into the world of dance.

Networking Sessions:

Dedicated sessions for participants to meet and connect with fellow dancers, industry experts, and fostering a community of growth and support.

Finale Showcase:

The event will culminate in a grand finale showcase, where the best performances will be highlighted and celebrated. This is a chance for participants to shine on a grand stage and receive recognition for their hard work and talent.

Awards and Recognition for Elite Showcase Category:

The IYDC Elite Showcase category is not just primarily a showcase, there will be special awards and recognitions given to standout performances. Elite Showcase participants will compete within the Elite Showcase Category for the Elite medals adding an extra layer of prestige to the participants’ achievements.

Eligible participants from IYDC Shanghai, IYDC Singapore and IYDC Online Competition can sign up online by 15 November 2024. Please state your participant name, registration number and which country / event you had participated in for the IYDC competition.
